Derek Bateson was born and raised Dublin, Ireland. He served in the Royal Air Force as an electronics engineer and then went on to flourish in his marketing and hospitality career.
Before relocating to the United States, Derek founded a ski tour company in the Alps. He would fly his clients to the mountains and would teach them to ski. The rest of the trip would be spent winding down fresh powdered trails with the beautiful European sun peaking through the clouds.
